You all are doing a GREAT job responding to the questions I post.  Let me encourage you to also interact with each other.  We learn by listening and communicating with others about their ideas and perspectives.  Keep up the good work!  I would like to know if reading the blog entries help you in understanding the literature we are studying in class.  Any responses?

Nature vs Nurture

March 7th, 2007 by shawc in Uncategorized · 12 Comments

The Creature claims that his evil behavior is not entirely his fault – if other people had not treated him so badly, he would have continued to behave in a virtuous manner.  Today, it is often argued that a person’s environment, including people, is too a large extent responsible for his or her behavior.  Do you think this is true?  Explain.
